Thai Pride Cement Co., Ltd. Was founded on October 16, 2003 by Italian-Thai Development Public
CompanyLimited to manufacture and supply high-quality cement. With registered capital of 1,200 million
bath, the companyestablished its plant on June 1, 2004 in Saraburi Province. Her Royal Highness
Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorngraciously presided over the grand opening of the plant on May 10, 2006.
The kindness Princess Maha ChakriSirindhorn in consenting to preside at the opening is a source of great
honour and pride for all members of the management and staff of Thai Pride Cement Co., Ltd.
The company’s plant built on an area of 360 rai and involved an investment of more than 3,000 million
bath. The plant has been granted concession for five lime mines, totaling 1,499 rai, which can yield
sufficient raw material to produce as much as 700 million tons of cement.
At present, the plant has a production capacity of 2,500 tons/day of clinker, which can be used to
produce cement with a maximum capacity of 3,000 tons/day or one million tons/year. The company’s
products are distributed through more than 100 dealers in the all regions of Thailand. In its second
development phase, to beimplemented in the near future, Thai Pride Cement plans to expand its plant
and increase production capacity to three million tons/year.
